Annual Sports Day 2011
Dear All
As informed earlier NZKK Annual Sports Day has been arranged on Saturday 23rd July 2011 at YMCA, Lynfield, from 9-30 am to 5-00 pm. Kindly make yourself fit, available and eligible to participate in the Indoor Sports events.
Food / Snacks will be served at a nominal price on the day of the event.
Entries for the following events have been invited from the members who have renewed their currant membership. Those who have not renewed their membership are requested to renew before 23 July 2011 to be able to participate in the events.
Badminton The event of Badminton will be held in the following three age groups.
GROUP A - Age under 15
GROUP B - Age between 16 and 40
GROUP C - Age above 40
Badminton - Singles, Doubles and Mixed doubles for all the three age groups A, B and C
The events of Table Tennis, Carom and Chess will be held in the following two age groups.
GROUP A - Age under 15
GROUP B - Age above 15
Table Tennis --Singles and Doubles for both the age groups A and B
Carom - Singles and Doubles for both the age groups A and B
Chess - for both the age groups A and B
Each event will carry an entry fee of $ 2/-(Two Dollars). All participants are requested to register their names on or before 15 July 2011.
Please note that for doubles and mixed doubles you have to bring your own partner and register. Ties will be drawn on 17th July 2011.
Each event should have a minimum of six entries to conduct that event. An event with less than six entries will be cancelled.
All the matches in badminton and TT will be completed on the same day 23rd July 11. The Carom and Chess events have been planed following Saturday 30th July 11 at the Kannada Centre Three Kings.
Please note that the events will start at 9-30 am sharp. All the participants are requested to be in the hall before 9-30 am on the day of event. If you miss to report within the time the opposition team will be given walkover to qualify for the next round.

All are requested to renew the membership so as to be eligible to participate in the Sports. The participant members who have not renewed their currant membership will not be considered for the draw. Kindly make sure that you have renewed your currant membership before giving an entry. If you have not renewed your membership you are requested to renew the membership at the earliest.
You may deposit your membership in NZKK Bank account or you may pay at the Kannada Centre - NZKK Library on Sundays.
